Abronye DC refuses to see police commander after Atebubu attack

- Abronye DC recently refused to see the Brong Ahafo Regional Commander when they visited him

- This comes after he was rushed to the hospital after being beating by party members

New Patriotic Party Brong-Ahafo Regional Youth Organizer, Mr. Kwame Baffoe, has reportedly refused to meet the Brong-Ahafo Regional Police Commander when the latter visited him at a medical facility where he was receiving treatment after an attack.

Following the incident where he was beaten by members of the governing NPP, Mr. Kwame Baffoe, aka, Abronye DC, was taken to the Atebubu Government Hospital to receive treatment. He was later moved to a Catholic Hospital in Duayaw Nkwanta.

According to a report by Mynewsgh.com, when the Brong-Ahafo Regional Police Commander, DCOP Techie-Poku, accompanied by the Divisional Commander, Supt. Lugu Yari, and another officer visited Abronye DC at the Catholic Hospital they were unable to see him.

The report says the high ranking officers were met by one Dr. Mathias Owusu, who is said to be one of the medical practitioners at the facility.

After other members of the party who came to visit Abronye DC left, Abronye DC locked himself in the washroom and refused to see the police officers

Abronye DC is said to have refused to see the Regional Police Commander and his entourage even though he was told that the commander wanted to have a firsthand account of the incident.

In the mean time, Abronye DC has been put under 24 hour police watch due to the nature of the situation.
