NPP executives chase Abronye’s attackers

The executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), in the Brong-Ahafo Region are calling for the immediate arrest of some irate youth who violently attacked the party’s Youth Organizer, Kwame Baffoe aka Abronye DC.

The Youth Organizer was on Saturday attacked and brutalized while in a meeting with some party executives in Atebubu in the Brong-Ahafo Region.

According to reports, the thugs attacked him with heavy metal bars, leaving him with a fractured arm and some serious injuries.

Though the NPP Regional Organizer is pointing accusing figures at the Brong-Ahafo regional minister, Asomah Cheremeh, the latter has denied any involvement in the matter.

Some other reports say Abronye’s attackers have been identified as supporters of the Regional Minister, yet, the police have not made any arrest.

However, speaking to Adom News, the Regional Communication Officer of the NPP, Adjei Malik who visited Abronye said his attack was deadly, but is responding to treatment.

“Yes, he was attacked. I visited him this morning with my team. He is in a critical condition but gradually responding to treatment,” Adjei Malik said.

He therefore called on the police in the Brong Ahafo region to immediately arrest all the perpetrators behind the acts.
