We didn't demand GHC 7,000 from Zigi - Ebony's management

Following YEN.com.gh's report that Zigi, a hiplife musician was lamenting the amount that Ebony’s management wanted to charge him before she features in a remix of his one-time hit song ‘You Sey Wetin’, Ebony's team has responded to his claims.

In a sharp rebuttal, the management of Ebony has described as false the allegation raised by Zigi.

According to Bullet, Ebony’s manager, there has not been any conversation or monetary discussion between him and Zigi.

Speaking on Hitz FM, Bullet denied Zigi’s claim that Ebony asked him to pay GHC 7,000 just to feature on a remix of his old song ‘You Sey Wetin’.

I’ve never seen his call, I have never seen his messages and so I have no idea what Zigi is talking about. don’t know which management he contacted but he has never contacted me,” Bullet said.

According to him, after suffering a ditch in his career, Zigi wants to ride on Ebony’s name for fame and so he has sparked a non-existing controversy.

Therefore, Zigi’s attitude has canceled any possibility of doing a song with Ebony, Bullet disclosed.

I am never going to allow Ebony to do a song with him, because what he is trying to do, he just wants to make noise and grab attention,” he stressed.

Bullet added that he does not see anything wrong if an artiste decides to make charges for featuring in a song.

He added that the amount Zigi is complaining of is peanuts and if they were indeed contacted by him, they would have mentioned more that the GHC 7,000.

Zigi had accused the management of Ebony of demanding the amount in order to feature on the remix of the song which would also have Kofi Kinaata as well as Gasmilla.

According to him, the demand was ‘ridiculous’ because, as musicians, it was important to support each other’s career.
