Award-winning dancehall act, Ebony Reigns and budding actress Efia Odo have put their kitchen skills to the test in a cooking competition, to find out which among them is the best at cooking local dishes.

The two young ladies faced-off in a cooking competition held at the forecourt of Kwese Free Sports in Accra.
The task at hand was that the ladies were to prepare a local dish of mashed cocoyam known in the local parlance as ‘mportomportor’.
The ladies jokingly took subtle swipes at each other as they started preparing their dishes just to taunt each other.
As the cooking was going on, some fans and followers of the two icons joined in the fun via telephone conversation and rooted for the best candidate to win.
A caller from Cape Coast tipped Efia Odo to win at the end of the day, but also gave Ebony some compliments for her songs. Another caller however said Ebony was going to carry the day.

The icons were seen busily working on their dishes with Ebony deciding to put her earthenware bowl on the floor to make her work easy and Efia Odo was seen constantly stirring her dish which was on the fire.
When the dish was ready, a chef was called in to do the tasting to ascertain the winner of the cooking competition. However, the chef considered the competition a tie.

Another judge who was called in,chose Ebony’s dish over Efia Odo’s due to certain reasons.
Ebony Reigns, born Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng is a dancehall artiste who is noted for hit songs such as “Poison”, “Sponsor” and “Date your father”.
Efia Odo on the other hand is a burgeoning actress looking to make a name for herself in the movie industry in Ghana.
