Award-winning dancehall act, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, known in the world of showbiz as Shatta Wale, has shared a video of his hit song “Freedom” on social media and has compared it to Ghana’s Independence Day.
The “Taking Over” hit maker shared a video from the wall of another Instagram user of his performance of the song “Freedom” mixed with Kwame Nkrumah’s historical speech on the eve of Ghana’s Independence Day.
The dancehall artiste captioned the video, “We all dey search some kind freedom. What freedom dey mean to you?.”
Not too long ago, the musician gifted a brand new saloon car to one of his militants known as Captan Abdul Kadir.
He also promised a gift of GHc 500 to one of his fans who got a haircut of his image.
Shatta Wale started off the year on a somewhat positive note with a lot of social media posts that suggested that he had taken it upon himself to proselytize the word of God with his posts.
On New Year’s Eve, he wished Sarkodie, Samini and Stonebwoy the best of the New Year.
Not long after the year started, there were some reports that he had thrown out longtime girlfriend, Shatta Michy, from his house for cheating.
Later on, the musician came out and rubbished the rumors and advised bloggers to stop spreading false information about him.
