Many people are born with different talents that but more often than not, the people with talents do not get the chance to even explore their God-given traits let alone turning it into a profession.
However, the story of Daniel Larbi is one of exception with the young man working hard on his talent to soon become one of the greatest boxers Ghana has ever produced.
5-year old Daniel Larbi who hails from Accra has caught the attention of many Ghanaians with his determination to perfect his boxing skills even at a tender age so as to garner enough experience when he eventually turns a professional boxer.
Speaking in an interview with Accra-based United Television, father of the boxing protégé, Daniel Larbi Snr. who is a boxer by profession revealed that his son picked up boxing gloves the very first time he accompanied him to the gym.
He added that on many occasions, he reprimanded his son for his ‘extreme liking’ of the sport but all his harsh words fell on deaf ears because his son born a natural and did not want to stop training.
Daniel Larbi Jnr is in school but immediately he closes from class, he rushes to the gym to train with hopes of becoming one of Ghana’s greatest boxers. .

Daniel Larbi Snr indicated that he was trained to become a boxer by the late Napoleon Tagoe. He added that he was not surprised that his son had taken after him due to his hunger to become a great fighter as well.
Both father and son are always seen training together in the gym and from a third person’s point of view. 5-year old Daniel Larbi does not ‘get it easy’ during the training sessions.
The young boy was all smiles when the cameras caught up with him but his training in no small way shows that he is going to take the world by storm when he finally becomes a professional boxer due to the number of years he has spent training.
