According to him, it was revealed during the media encounter organized on Wednesday, January 17, 2018.

He further explained that the responses from the first gentleman of the land , especially with respect to questions on corruption revealed the pressure he is facing.

In the course of the event, the president is alleged to have informed journalists present that the findings of allegations of corruption leveled against members of his administration and investigated by independent bodies have been made public.

In the opinion of the NDC executive, the comments from the president undermines the work of a Parliamentary Committee set up to investigate what has become known as the “Cash-for-Seat scandal”.

“President Akufo Addo was just under pressure to organize the press encounter; here is a committee handling these corruption issues.

I expect the President to allow the committee to do its work but his response rather undermines the work of the committee,” He said on Accra-based Neat FM.

He went on to say that even though the president touted the policies introduced by his administration, his communication handlers failed to disseminate the same message to the public.
