Omane Boamah behind ‘HAMID 1-18’ Land Cruiser propaganda – Mustapha

The Minister for Information, Mustapha Abdul Hamid is accusing a top member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), of being the brain behind the customized Land Cruiser vehicle with customized registration HAMID 1-18.

According to a report, Mustapha Hamid says Dr Edward Omane Boamah is the man behind such ‘dirty’ political propaganda to spread falsehood about him as the owner of the new luxury vehicle.

Addressing journalists in Wa on Thursday, the Information minister revealed that the ‘wicked’ plan was carefully crafted and executed using the website of the former NDC minster, “”.

Mr Hamid who was clearly not happy about the move stated that former NDC appointees are resorting to all kinds of propaganda in order to tag NPP officials against corruption.

But Hamid said Ghanaians are not gullible and are watching closely the activities of both the NDC and the Akufo-Addo administration.

Photos of the New Land Cruiser V8 vehicle in days ago went went on viral on various social media platforms, causing huge outrage.

The report which was first published by, which is allegedly owned by Dr Omane Boamah sort to create the impression that Mr Hamid is amassing wealth few days into office.

However, Mustapha Hamid speaking on other media platforms charged the police service to immediately arrest the luxury vehicle and its occupant to ascertain the real owner of the Land Cruiser.
