- The Brong Ahafo Regional youth organizer of the NPP, Abronye DC, has cautioned the NDC to pay more attention to its internal challenges
- He added that they (the NDC) have no business focusing on his recent injuries
The Brong Ahafo regional youth organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Abronye DC, has advised the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to keep their focus on their internal challenges.
In a report by MynewsGH.com, he stated that the NDC have no business concerning themselves with his recent assault case.
They should leave him to grieve and rather focus on their internal squabbles.
“Concentrate on issues bothering on your party including allegations made by Alban Bagbin and Sylvester Mensah about who becomes flagbearer and leave me out of your discussions.
Talk about issues in your family and not what happens in the other man’s yard. Go and mind your own business and let me grief over my beatings,” he stated on UTV.
Abronye DC’s remarks were as a result of comments by a Communications Officer of the NDC, Nurudeen Abass, to the effect that the NPP members are intolerable.
According to Nurudeen, there was the need to condem unruly acts in the NPP.
He added that the fact that Abronye DC was currently nursing a fractured arm was enough evidence of for his claims.
The NPP regional youth organizer however countered by saying that the NDC Communications Officer should be more concerned about the fate of his party members, when the Special Prosecutor officially begins work.
Abronye DC was allegedly assaulted by some members of the NPP at Atebubu in the Brong Ahafo Region.
It was reported that he was on his way to a meeting with party executives when the incident occurred.
