Ghana could lose more police officers this year if the nation does not intensify its prayers, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah has warned.
The founder and leader of the Glorious Word Ministry International said he has seen a vision which suggests more police officers risk being killed this year.
In the wee hours of Sunday, January 21, an armed gang invaded the Kwabenya Police Headquarters and murdered the policeman on duty, before freeing seven other suspects who were being detained in the cells.
According to the prophet, he foresaw the vision of police officers being attacked but was labeled a prophet of doom by many Ghanaians when he disclosed his vision.
Speaking to Accra-based Okay FM, Owusu Bempah said the situation could have been even worse had it not been for his end-of-year prayers delivered on behalf of the nation.
“I predicted the killing of officers and other prominent leaders in this country. But I remember when I came out to say it, some people started attacking me and calling me prophet of doom but I always say that the situation would have been worse if not for the prayers I delivered at the All Night session in 2017,” he said.
Meanwhile, this is not the first time that Owusu Bempah has made such predictions.
Earlier in the year, he also prophesied that Ghana would lose many prominent persons in 2018, including top journalists and politicians.
