-Habiba has revealed with a photo of her baby bump as she celebrates her birthday
It looks like 2018 will be a very good one for Black Stars striker, Abdul Majeed Waris.
Just a few days after his transfer from FC Lorient in France to Portuguese giants FC Porto, his wife has revealed that they are expecting their first child as a couple.
Habiba Sinare Abdul Waris made the disclosure in a post on her Instagram page as she marked her birthday.
Sharing a photo of her baby bump she said she was thankful to Allah for her pregnancy and motherhood.
"Dear Allah, first of all, I want to thank you for everything you have done and still doing in my life. I see and appreciate your awesome work Ya Rabi. Thank you too for starting this year with so much blessings, joy, love and happiness.Indeed you are always there for your servants. Not only adding another year to my life but also blessing me with the most precious, priceless and beautiful birthday gift ever. An amazing year it is! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MAMA????"
The 26-year-old footballer married Habiba at a ceremony in Accra in April, 2017.
Habiba is the daughter of Alhaji Saeed Sinare, former Vice Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) who served as Ghana’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the John Mahama government.
She also happens to be the niece of veteran Ghanaian actress, Kalsoum Sinare.
