- He further added that the fact that 'One Corner' has gone international is an indication of God's handiwork
Ghanaian dancehall musician, Shatta Wale, has disclosed his intention to freely produce a song for the ‘One Corner’ hitmaker, Patapaa Amisty.
According to him, Patapaa has introduced a new way to appreciate Ghanaian music, and for that matter he deserves a reward.
Shatta Wale made the pledge in the course of an interview on Zyolofon FM.
He further stated that it is of little importance where Patapaa comes from. To him, the fact that his song has gained international recognition is evidence of God’s handiwork. “Where are the so called rappers?” he quizzed.
Shatta Wale revealed that the ‘One Corner’ song is in Congo, America, Nigeria and several other countries.
“How can one song be in every country? Let’s be real, God is teaching us something, let us learn it…” Shatta stated.
The dancehall king added that the Swedru-based artiste pushed him to go the extra mile in the year 2017, and that is one of the reasons he intends to gift him a song.
The ‘One Corner’ song gained international recognition on social media after it was released at last year’s Swedru Akwambo festival in the Central region.
