YEN.com.gh has sighted a video of a White Lady making some enviable Adowa Dance moves.
The video is believed to be taken in the Ashanti Region during a funeral held recently.
Though not much is known about this white lady and the funeral, the way she delivers the Adowa Dance is something that can easily catch anybody’s attention.
Clad in black cloth styled in our local slit and kaba, the ‘Obroni Korkoor’ is seen vigorously making her dance moves.
From the way she dances, it is obvious that she loves and admires the Ghanaian culture, and so had taken her time to really learn the dance.
Her dance has triggered a lot of reactions from some social media users, who are full of praises for her.
One social media user by name Ohemaa Afua simply commented: “Amazing.”
Fadilla also wrote: “Nice one..." with a clapping hand emoji
Another user, Daniel Nwaorgu who was struck by the amazing talent of the White Lady also commented: “Nice, she is fast to learn.”
Aside from the social media reactions, the gathering at the funeral also showered praises on the white woman as they cheered her on while she dances her heart out with another male dancer.
Adowa is a popular dance by the people of Ashanti Region, Ghana.
It is performed at traditional functions including funeral, and other events in the Ashanti Region.
