Celebrated Ghanaian music artiste, Okyeame Kwame, has advised ladies to settle with men who are interested in planting trees.

He further stated that Ghanaian women should pay less attention to solely handsome men or rich men.

In a report by 3news.com, he added that a man who plants seven trees in the year 2018 is best suited to be a good husband.

The musician made these revelations during his unveiling as Ghana’s Climate Change Ambassador.

His role is birthed from his strong commitment and support for developmental issues.

The $5.5 million deal is supported by the World Bank and the Climate Investment Fund programme - the Dedicated Grant Mechanism (DGM).

The main objective of the DGM is to strengthen knowledge and practices of communities in forest management through sustainable land use in the 52 selected communities in Ghana.

The 52 communities in the Brong Ahafo and Western Regions were chosen under the five-year programme based on their propensity for unsustainable forest use.

In respect to his appointment as an ambassador, Okyeame Kwame has a duty to educate Ghanaians on the need to take measures in order to curb the increasing spate of global warming.
