Respected Ghanaian rapper, Kofi King Arthur, widely known as Kinaata is parting ways with Samini’s High Grade Family after five years with the record label.
According to Kasapafmonline.com report, the talented Fante rapper has decided not to work with Samini’s record label after his 5-year contract expired.
Though it is not yet clear where the Takoradi-based artiste will be heading next. Reports say Kinaata will make public his plans in the next couple of months.
Kofi Kinaata who spoke to 233times.com about his decision said he has really gathered a lot of experience from his former managers.
“The relationship I have with every member of high grade family and the challenge to always do your best. From Samini to Tony Pun to every member of the High grade Family, I've learnt a lot and I am forever indebted to them,” Kinaata said.
The rapper indicated that he has established great relationship with every member of High Grade Family and will not hesitate to renew his contract if things fail.
“There are a lot to learn at High Grade Family and our relationship is great so I will make the announcement to my fans by the end of this month,” he said.
Kofi added that, "If I will be there or not our relationship is still strong and I will announce to my fans and everyone my final decision by the end of January”.
