Close to eight suspects linked to the murder of a top police official at the Kwabenya Police Station have been picked up for interrogation by security officials, Joy FM has reported.
Media reports show that these fugitives are clearly linked to the killing of Inspector Emmanuel Ashilevi as well as constable Daniel Owusu.
Inspector General of Police (IGP), David Asante-Apeatu, has also revealed that one more suspect, a 32-year-old Nana Owuah who is believed to be the spiritual father has also been arrested.
Nana Owuah is suspected to be a supplier of deadly weapons to suspects who engaged in the shocking Sunday dawn attack. The IGP has also revealed that strange items as coffins and skeletons were discovered at the residence of the spiritual father.
Meanwhile, the police department has placed a ¢15,000 bounty on all persons suspected to be linked to the Kwabenya-killing case.
