-A video making rounds on social media suggests the Eagle Prophet predicted Dr Bawumia's sickness
-Dr Bawumia has been ill since last Friday and is currently in London
Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is currently in London recuperating after falling sick last week.
After reporting to work, he fell sick and was advised by doctors who attended to him to take the day.
A day after, official communication from the Presidency disclosed that Dr Bawumia had been flown to London on a medical leave.
A video making rounds on social media suggests a popular man of God may have prophesied the event.
In the video, which is said to have been recorded in November 2017, Prophet Reindolph Oduro Gyebi of the God's Crown Chapel is seen calling for intense prayers for the vice president.
Prophet Gyebi, popularly known as the Eagle Prophet during a church service asked his congregation to pray for Dr Bawumia without explaining.
“Let us pray more for Dr Bawumia and his family”, YEN.com.gh heard him say in the video.
Though he failed to give reasons for his call for special prayer, the Eagle Prophet is widely known for many prophecies. It will not be out of place to suggest that he might have seen something wrong was about to happen to Dr Bawumia.
It would be recalled in a viral video last year made predictions of possible deaths of radio personalities especially at the Multimedia Group.
Many interpreted the death of Asempa FM's Ekosii Sen, Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong (KABA) as a manifestation of the prophecy.
Meanwhile, leading member of the New Patritoic party (NPP) Mr Gabby Otchere-Darko has revealed that the Vice President is fine and is responding well to treatment.
In a Facebook post, the politician said he visited Dr. Bawumia at his flat in London and not in a hospital.
