In the view of the vocalist and music producer, Ghanaians have adopted this stance because Kwabena Kwabena is a secular musician.

He further explained that popular secular musician, R Kelly, has released some gospel songs, nut they are not cast in the same category as ‘Bue Kwan’.

Speaking on Daybreak Hit on Hitz FM, he stated that he is at a loss as to why this position has been adopted in Ghana.

“R Kelly has done many awkward things that Kwabena Kwabena hasn’t yet he sang the ‘Storm is Over, ‘You Saved Me’, songs that were remixed by T D Jakes…”, he argued.

Nacee further queried the host Andy Dosty in a rhetorical manner, saying “is it because it’s coming from outside so we have to accept it?”
