John Mahama pays Chief Bawumia a visit

Ghana’s former president, John Dramani Mahama, on Sunday, January 28, 2018, paid Chief Dauda Mandiaya Bawumia a surprise visit.

Chief Bawumia, a former ambassador of Ghana to Burkina Faso, is an older brother of Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, and resides at Lapaz, a suburb of Accra.

In a report by MyNewsGH.com, Chief Bawumia has been ill for over a year now, and in that respect, ex-president Mahama took time off his schedule to pay him a visit.

Information available to YEN.com.gh shows that the former president donated an undisclosed amount of money to the former diplomat to support his medical bills.

He also requested that intercessory prayers are organized on behalf of Chief Bawumia, so that Allah can show mercy on him with respect to a speedy recovery.

John Mahama finally prayed for him and wished him God’s intervention in his healing process.

Chief Bawumia’s brother, Mahamudu Bawumia, fell ill on Friday, January 19, 2018, and is currently in the United Kingdom (UK) for a medical checkup. He is expected to return to Ghana soon.
