Talented Ghanaian female musician, Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda, better known as MzVee has for the first time commended the leader of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), for his social intervention programme, Free Senior High School policy.
According to MzVee, the Akufo-Addo led government has lifted burdens off many Ghanaian parents, especially the poorest of the poor in society.
Speaking on KasapaFM in Accra, the Lynx Entertainment songstress lauded the president for the smooth implementation of the Free SHS policy amid huge criticisms.
To her the NPP administration has chalk huge success by implementation the policy, though she was unable to rate the performance of the government after one year in office.
“One thing about his [Akufo-Addo] government that makes me happy is about the Free SHS. He is really doing well,” MzVee said.
The dancehall artiste in her interaction revealed that she is making huge strides in other countries including Nigeria due to her collaboration with other talented artistes.
“Collaborations with artistes from other countries help musicians to market their works in other countries as well. And I’m happy with how issues about musicians are being resolved,” she said.
