Ibrahim Mahama, brother of the former president John Dramani Mahama is reported to have engaged the president in a closed-door meeting which lasted for about two hours.

YEN.com.gh, upon monitoring reports from Daily Guide, can report that the meeting could have been linked to the suspension of the bauxite concession which was handed to his company, Exton Cubic Group Limited.

So far, it remains unknown how the business Morgul got to meet with the president but reports claim he could have struck this deal at the inauguration of the Liberian president, George Weah. The encounter bewtween the president and Ibrahim Mahama was seen in pictures of Ibrahim and Nana Addo shaking hands.

Ibrahim Mahama is a powerful businessman who owns a chain of companies, including Engineers & Planners. A leaked financial data has revealed how Ex-President John Mahama’s brother secretly invested huge sums of money in an offshore tax haven.

Ibrahim Mahama reportedly had an offshore company, Red Sky Aviation Limited, created for him by a Bermuda-based law firm Appleby in the Isle of Man. The company was used to hold a $7m Bombardier Challenger jet, the leaked 13.4m documents christened ‘Paradise Papers’ showed.
