- Shatta Wale has announced his intention to grow his brand beyond that of American musician, Jay Z

- The dancehall artiste joins other musicians such as Stonebwoy, Becca and Joyce Blessing who have all signed a deal with Zylofon Media
Ghanaian dancehall musician, Shatta Wale, has declared that in the near future, his brand would grow bigger than that of multiple Grammy-award winner, Jay Z.
The newly-signed Zylofon Media music artiste, again stated that with the new deal in place, he is set to explore heights previously unreached.
According to him, he is well positioned to excel in the music business, beyond the level reached by the American rapper.
Moments after his unveiling as Zylofon’s latest artiste on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, the ‘Freedom’ hitmaker said Ghanaians will see his hard work and will testify to the rest of the world.
“I think in the next year or two, my fans should really watch out, Shatta Wale is going to be bigger than Jay-Z and all the [big] artists in America,” he stated emphatically.
Shatta Wale’s 3-year deal with Zyolofon Media brings him under the same label as Stonebwoy, Obibini, Kumi Guitar, Becca and Joyce Blessing.
Shatta Wale is one of Ghana's most popular Dance Hall artists. He shot to fame in the year 2004 with his hit single "Bandana from Ghana" which gained massive airplay in Ghana.
The dancehall guru’s influence with his large fan base makes him one of Ghana’s highly favored celebrities.
In 2017, Shatta Wale won several international awards including the African Entertainment Awards (USA), where he picked the Best Dancehall Artiste award.
