-Former President John Mahama has condoled the family of Alhaji Hearts
-Alhaji Hearts passed away on Wednesday, January 31 after a short illness
-The former President also condoled the family of former NDC MP for Bia, Michael Boampong who died on Monday.
Former President John Mahama has reacted to the sudden death of Alhaji Suleiman Braimah, popularly known as Alhaji Hearts.
Alhaji Hearts, a long serving management and board member of Ghana Premier League giants, Accra Hearts of Oak, passed away on Wednesday January 31.
He was on admission at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital after a short illness.
YEN.com.gh had earlier reported that he would be buried on Thursday February 1, in line with Islamic customs.
In a Facebook post, former President expressed his condolence to the family of the former Hearts board member whom he described as a 'friend'.
""Ask not for whom the bell tolls, it tolls for thee".
"“From Him we came and to Him we shall return”.
"My condolences to families of former MP Michael Boampong and friend Alhaji Suleiman Braimah aka Alhaji Hearts", Mr Mahama posted.
The post also consoled the family of former NDC MP for Bia, Michael Boampong who passed away on Monday.
The 55-year-old former was admitted at the 37 Military before his passing.
He was the Chairman of the Parliament's Select Committee on Roads and Highways.
