Osei Kwame Despite to donate a Children’s Block to mark his birthday

- The CEO of the Despite Group of Companies, Osei Kwame Despite, would soon donate an ultra-modern Children's block to the 37 Military Hospital

- The donation is intended to coincide with his birthday, which falls on Friday, February 2, 2018

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Despite Group of Companies, Dr. Osei Kwame Despite, will on Friday, February 2, 2018, donate three ultra-modern facilities to the 37 Military Hospital.

Information available to YEN.com.gh shows that the gift is intended to mark his birthday, which falls on the same day.

The project, according to sources would be named "The Osei Kwame (Despite) Children's Block", and has various facilities, such as a Paediatric Oncology (Cancer) Unit and a Paediatric Physiotherapy Unit.

The Paediatric Oncology (Cancer) Unit has two consulting rooms, a nurses’ reception station and office, a main ward for in-patients, a treatment area, a kitchenette, and five washrooms.

Also included in this complex are two extra private wards for general paediatric admissions.

Aside these, the entrepreneur has previously commissioned the construction of two new edifices for the Tesano Police Divisional Headquarters in Accra and Wiamoase Police in his hometown to enhance police activities in the respective communities.

Earlier this year, a Mother and Baby Unit was also commissioned at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

The project was spearheaded by the First Lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo and a journalist Seth Kwame Boateng.

Christened the “Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem II Center”, the unit will serve mothers who visit the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in the Ashanti Regional capital for delivery and other neonatal services.
