Former President John Dramani Mahama has paid a courtesy call on the family of the late Alhaji Hearts to commiserate with them.
Alhaji Hearts, known in real life as Alhaji Suleiman Ibrahim, passed on last week at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.
He died after battling with a short illness, and was subsequently buried the following day in line with Islamic customs.
The family of the late Hearts of Oak board member was visited by ex-president Mahama on Tuesday at his private residence at Odorkor in Accra.
Mahama was accompanied by some other members of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), as they sympathized and commiserated with the bereaved family.
The late Alhaji Hearts was an ardent follower of the Rainbow club, having served in various capacities at the club.
He also played an instrumental role when the club won the CAF Champions League and Confederations Cup in the early 2000s.
