-Bishop Daniel Obinim is reported to have indicated that he was an angel
-The social media user questioned why the Man of God did not fly on his own if he indeed had the qualities of an angel
A social media user has taken a swipe at the Founder and Leader of International God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim, for sitting and travelling in a plane when he claimed to be an angel.
In a picture that was posted on Twitter, a young man was seen sitting in front of Bishop Daniel Obinim in a plane.
The young man quizzed why a Man of God who reportedly touted himself as an angel would choose to fly in a plane instead of using his 'flying ability'.
The picture has since gone viral on social media having been retweeted over 200 times after it was posted.
The picture was captioned, “Chilling with Angel Obinim. Angel wey dey take plane…”
If the inscription on the picture was anything to go by, the young man wondered why the self-proclaiming angel of God did not fly on his own terms with his ‘wings’.
Not too long ago, a video of the Man of God went viral when he attempted to fly during one of his church services.
The pastor, after dashing in front of his congregation in an attempt to mimic a bird about to take flight, landed in the arms of some of his congregants who were standing at the other side of the auditorium.
Aside the fact that many people do not side with some of the antics and controversies that the Man of God has been embroiled in, he commands a huge church following both in Kumasi and Accra.
His church boasts of branches in some other parts of the country and also has some international branches as well.
The Man of God is married to local gospel music sensation, Florence Obinim.
The wife of the popular pastor also made headlines with her ‘guarantee’ boots she wore to one of their church services.
