Ghanaians woke up to the most shocking news on Friday that Dancehall diva, Ebony Reigns, has died.

According to the information available, Ebony died in a car crash on her way to Accra from the Ashanti Region.

The vehicle in which she was traveling with three others and a driver, collided with a VIP bus and that resulted in a fatal car crash in the early hours of Friday, February 9, 2018.

Ebony’s death has come as a shock to everyone because no one expected it.

As most people already know, she was full of life, very bubbly and friendly to all.

Breaking her silence on this unfortunate development, Nana Ama McBrown took to her Instagram page to express her grief.

She wrote: “Gone too Soon You had a great future and only God knows Why R. I. P Ebony...”

Her comment is accompanied by an emoji of a broken heart.

Of course, many Ghanaians hearts are broken at the moment, given the fact that Ebony was a talented young musician.

Ebony Reigns, born Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng was born on February 16, 1997; she was due to turn 21 next Wednesday.

She was tipped as ultimate winner of ‘Artiste of the year’ for the upcoming Ghana Music Awards.

Some of her hit songs include: ‘Maame Hw3’, ‘Hustle’, ‘Sponsor’ and others.
