Economist and renowned pastor, Dr Lawrence Tetteh, has reacted to the death of popular songstress, Ebony Reigns.
The pastor, who took his turn to share fond memories of the singer revealed that he had preached Christ to her just a few days ago.
Speaking on the Super Morning Show on Joy FM, Dr Lawrence Tetteh revealed that Ebony was a young woman who loved the Lord.
According to him, his encounter with Ebony at the Embassy of Hungary happened when she had requested to meet him for prayers and council.
"This is a shock, very sad and disheartening. She was with me in Hungary when I was asked a young lady wanted to meet me. She wanted me to pray with her. When she was so excited to meet the man of God, it was so shocking. I advised her to dress well when she goes to Hungary," Lawrence Tetteh revealed.
When asked if she had accepted Christ as her Lord and personal saviour, Lawrence Tetteh stated that " Her love for Jesus is undying" and he relates to her as "his only daughter".
Ebony who was returning from Sunyani after a visit was involved in a car accident and died at the Bechem Government Hospital. Ebony was returning to Accra to make preparations for a trip to America.
The songstress tried to swerve the heap of sand only to collide with a VIP bus which was just coming on top speed on its lane.
So far, the bodies of Ebony, the soldier and another man are at Mankranso Hospital. As investigations are ongoing.
Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng is Ebony’s real name. She was born on February 16, 1997. Ebony is a Ghanaiandancehall/Afrobeats artist widely known for her hit songs "Poison" and "Kupe", she was discovered by Bullet, a member of Ruff n Smooth fame.
