Ghanaians woke up on Friday morning to the sad news of Ebony Reigns’ passing.

The singer, known in real life as Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng, tragically lost her life after being involved in a gory accident on the Kumasi-Sunyani highway.

Eyewitnesses say the car carrying her crashed into a VIP bus which was also moving at top speed, killing two other persons – one of them a military man.

The passing of the dancehall diva has drawn tributes from both far and near, as many pay their last respect to the 20-year-old sensation.

Ebony was tipped by many as a front-runner to win the Artiste of The Year at the 2018 Ghana Music Awards, following her series of hit songs.

The star singer is behind hit tracks like “Hustle”, “Sponsor”, “Maama Hwe”, among others.
