Award-winning teen actress, Clara Benson, popularly known as Maame Serwaa has expressed sadness over the untimely and unfortunate demise of dancehall artiste, Ebony Reigns after a fatal accident.
Maame Serwaa who was still mourning her mother even though a funeral had already taken place, could not believe that the award-winning dancehall act could bid farewell to the world in such a shocking manner.
The actress took to her Instagram account and shared a photo of the “Date your Father” song maker.
She captioned the post saying, “I Just Lost A Loved One Recently and Woke Up Today Only To Hear Another Sad News. I'm Restless At The Moment and My Heart is Heavy. May You Rest In The Bossom of Father Abraham Ebony. You Are A Legend!!!”
Ebony passed away after she was involved in a gory accident, which claimed the lives of two others.
It is reported that the young lady who also perished in the accident, Franky Kuri, was the musician’s childhood friend who doubled as her Personal Assistant until their passing.
A military man who was also in the Jeep is reported to have perished along with the ladies but the driver of the vehicle sustained injuries and is currently on admission.
Ebony was returning from Sunyani after a visit when she was involved in the car accident.
It is reported that she was returning to Accra to make preparations for a trip to Europe.
Ebony was an Afrobeats artist widely known for her hit songs 'Poison' and 'Kupe'.
