Photos show terrible road, heap of sand that killed Ebony

Pictures of the accident scene of Ebony Reigns and two other persons including a soldier have finally surfaced. These pictures have shown the actual poor state of the Sunyani-Kumasi road on which Ebony's Jeep was plying.

YEN.com.gh had earlier reported of how all three persons on board the Jeep had died after trying to swerve the heap of sand on the stretch of road that Ebony's crew was using.

We are gathering that this heap of sand has been there for the past year. In fact, reports from the police show that other accidents had occurred at the very spot where Ebony died.

Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh is learning that the soldier acted against the rules of the army, especially when he wore a uniform for an unofficial duty. The soldier, we gather is an Airforce Lance Corporal.

What YEN.com.gh is learning is that the deceased soldier will be court marshaled and sentenced to 40 days in the military guardroom.

What this means is that his the body of the deceased soldier will be detained for 40 days before being handed over to his family. Also, the bereaved family could be denied his benefits.

So far, the bodies of Ebony, the soldier and another man are at Mankranso Hospital. As investigations are ongoing.
