Prophet Nicholas Osei, popularly known as Kumchacha, has broken his silence since news about Ebony’s death hit Ghanaians yesterday.
The founder and leader of Heaven's Gate Ministries has stated without mincing words that there is a mystery behind Ebony Reigns’ shocking demise.
However, he did not go into detail on this mystery, but rather advised Ebony’s family to consult a “powerful man of God” for direction.
According to Kumchacha, some people were jealous of Ebony and unhappy about her progress and therefore decided to end her life.
“Ebony’s death is not natural. Even in our ministry, pastors strike down colleague pastors with black magic and poison; how much more in the secular world?”
“Look, she died like Suzzy Williams. When she was at her peak, she died. Ebony’s death is not normal. Death is inevitable but there are so many causes.”
“If the family is interested in the cause of her death, they should go and consult any pastor they believe in and he will tell them,” Kumchacha said, according to a report by Ghanaweb.
Some few weeks ago, Prophet Kumchacha had a difference with Ebony and ended up calling her a “demon”.
He later made a prophecy that Ebony “would not reach anywhere” and even threatened to “bury her CDs”.
But in the wake of the young lady’s sad demise, Kumchacha has denied having a hand in the death.
Ebony met her untimely death late Thursday evening on the Sunyani-Kumasi road.
She was returning to Accra after visiting her mother and spending time with her family members.
The 20-year-old dancehall diva, a female friend, and a military officer reported to be her bodyguard were with her.
Her Jeep with registration AS 497—16 it collided head-on with a VIP bus heading towards Sunyani from Kumasi, police say.
Among her hit songs were ‘Sponsor’, ‘Poison’,‘Hustle’, ‘Kupe’ and ‘Maame Hwe’.
Undoubtedly, it is clear that Ghanaians would have Ebony in mind for a long time if not forever!
