Most Ghanaian celebrities took to social media to express the emotion in reaction to the death of Ebony Reigns, and Zylofon Media CEO, Nana Appiah Mensah, is one of those who did so.

He also indicated that Ebony wanted to be bailed out from her agreement with her then current manager, Bullet.

But it appears that these comments may have stirred up the proverbial "hornet's nest", because some have taken the Zylofone Media boss' comments as a sign that something truly nefarious was being done to the late songstress.

Now in a recent tweet from Zylofon Media's official Instagram page the all round entertainment company has revealed that on Monday, February 12th, Nana Appian Mensah will attempt to clarify the issue.

According to a short statement captioned along with the post signed by the company's communications Director, Mr. Samuel A. Baah, Nana Appiah Mensah's comment were harmless, and only sought to express his emotion in relation to Ebony's death.

"It has come to our notice that a harmless tweet which was supposed to express how the Chief Executive Officer of Zylofon Media Nana Appiah Mensah feels about the sudden death of our dear sister Ebony has sparked unexpected controversies on social media," reads a piece of the statement.

The statement goes on to say that the company's hope all concerned will remain calm during this time of difficulty in order to avoid offending others in public discussions.
