Ghanaian songstress Feli Nuna, has bitterly mourned the passing of fellow Ghanaian songstress, Ebony Reigns, born Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, in a brutal accident that occurred on Thursday night.
Barely two months old, the death of Ebony Reigns may most likely end up being the saddest incident to have happened in the country in the year 2018. The death of a young and very talented artist when she was just beginning to shine has had many Ghanaians waxing existential.
Nevertheless for those who personally knew Ebony Reigns, the feelings of sadness and despair are probably ten times as acute. This is the case for Ghanaian artist, Feli Nuna.
In a post the artist shared on her official Instagram page, Feli Nuna revealed that she revealed that since she heard news of Ebony's death she's been unable to comprehend Ebony's sudden departure to the hereafter.
Fela Nuna wrote of all the good times she spent with the late dancehall artist, and of how she watched Ebony become a star.
"My Big little sister.. I watched u grow into the Super Star u became.. U were on ur way Bon so I just don't get how this could happen to such a trailblazer.. But God knows best right? My crazy mpanyins3m little sister," wrote Fela Nuna.
Fela Nuna goes on to write about how she wishes she could hug Ebony one more time and express how the two of them supported each other even though she wasn't always comfortable with the decisions Ebony took in her career.
"I wish i hugged u and told u how much i loved u the last time i saw u at rockstones.. Who will cook your jollof for me now? U knew the best way to fry the chicken," wrote Fela Nuna.
