- Abeiku Santana had stated that the management team of Ebony did not know the soldier who died with her in the crash
-Abeiku claimed that they only knew Franky Kuri, Ebony's friend who was also involved in the accident
-But Ebony’s father, Mr. Opoku-Kwarteng has countered Abeiku’s claim, saying the soldier was Ebony’s bodyguard
Popular television personality and member of Ebony’s management team, Abeiku Santana, has been in the news since the death of the young talented singer.
As a management team member, Abeiku said they were not aware of Ebony’s dealings with the soldier until after their death.

Abeiku went ahead to state that the Jeep which got involved in the accident does not belong to Ebony, adding that the only person known to the team was Franky Kuri, Ebony’s friend who also died in the crash.
Ghanaians believe that Abeiku’s move is an image-saving attempt in order that the management team would not be questioned over the late soldier and the driver.
But in an interview, Mr. Opoku Kwarteng, Ebony’s father, rubbished Abeiku’s claim; stating that the soldier was her daughter’s personal bodyguard and a friend, according to a report by Mynewsgh.com.
The soldier, Lance Corporal Vondee Francis Atsu, aged 29, according to Ebony’s father is known to the family, an indication that the management team would also be in the know.

Mr. Opoku-Kwarteng added that the driver, Chartey Oko, who is currently responding to treatment at the Bechem Government Hospital in the Brong Ahafo Region, is also her daughter’s personal driver.
Nana Opoku-Kwarteng has in a related interview, urged ‘self-styled’ prophets to stop their “irritating” comments about his daughter so she could rest well.
