KFC means Kentucky Fried Chicken. It is well-known as a fast food restaurant. The founder of the second- largest restaurant was Colonel Harland Sanders.
He started it off on a humble development from a roadside seller of fried chicken, Corbin. Colonel opened Kentucky in 1952, Utah. It had a consistent growth from chicken alone to the selling of sweet hamburger and Sanders became very notable in America. The aging Sanders decided to sell the restaurant in order for it to have a rapid growth.

Colonel sold his restaurant in 1964 to lucky investors who had their leaders as Jack c. Massey and John Brown Y. Jr. The restaurant expanded not only in America but also internationally. Its outlets were spotted in Jamaica, Mexico, Canada, and United Kingdom in the late 1960s.
The restaurant went through a number of owners from the group of investors to Heublein who was a spirit distributor to R.J Reynolds who was a conglomerate of food and tobacco to PepsiCo.

Who Owns KFC Now?
KFC is currently owned by PepsiCo who has contributed largely to the development and addition of more chains of the restaurant. It had a wider expansion in China and there were divisions, which is currently known as Yum! Brand. David C. Novak is the CEO of Yum! Brand and Muktesh became the CEO of KFC.
KFC was first known for its pressured pieces of chicken that were seasoned to taste with Sander’s rear recipe that includes spices with 11 herbs. Cardboard buckets were used to serve the large pieces of the tasty chicken. Currently, the KFC is known to offer fast foods of products of chicken such as salads, side dishes such as French fries and sweet coleslaw, soft drinks, wraps and Chicken fillet burgers.
The company has succeeded to expand its chain into African, Asia, Europe, Oceania, North America, and the Middle East. This proves how the company is developing year- by- year and its slogan is “Finger Licking Good”, “Nobody does chicken like KFC” and lastly “So good.”
