Afia Schwarzenegger joins TV Africa?

Award-winning TV host and Ghana’s queen of comedy, Afia Schwarzenegger has made quite the name for herself in the entertainment industry, and the juicy offers thrown at her on the regular are a testament to that.

In December last year, Afia Schwar announced that she had been signed on to Hiplife artiste Guru’s NKZ label, as the first female comedian, a deal that was evidently worth her brand with a huge sum of money and a two-week vacation in Dubai as part of her package.

And it seems this year will bring in more prospects for the TV host.

In a post on Instagram, Afia uploaded a photo of herself and tagged herself as the ‘political police’ while pointing to the TV Africa channel’s Instagram account for more details.

What makes her hint at moving to the new station even more convincing, is her reply in the affirmative when one of her followers asked if she was moving to the network.

A fan page for the TV host could not hide their excitement at the news: queenafiaschwar_fans @queenafiaschwarzenegger yeahhhh...dear cant wait oooooo...God is good

Afia keeps it real and her fans love it: dzigbordiakos You are the most realist person I know of. Keep being you always. Lots of love.

Apparently, this was a prayer answered: unix_allotey thank you Lord for answering our prayers,....luv u @queenafiaschwarzenegger

The TV host celebrated her birthday on February 14 and officially launched her Leave2Live Foundation, which is an organization created to help women in abusive relationships overcome their hurdles.

This move follows the tumultuous marriage Afia says she had with her estranged husband, Lawrence Abrokwah, who is currently on trial on charges of assault, threat of harm and distribution of obscene material.
