-The solemn observation is being held in Dansoman, a suburb of Accra
-Ebony, 2 others died in gory accident which occurred on the Sunyani-Kumasi road on February 8
A section of notable people in Ghana have arrived for the One Week Observation of multiple award-winning dancehall act, Ebony Reigns, known in real life as Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng.
Among many of the celebrities who have turned up for the observation include actors, musicians, Men of God, politicians and media personnel.
Exclusive pictures from YEN.com.gh correspondent at the Martin De Porres School in Dansoman, a suburb of Accra shows the presence of Deputy Minister for Communication and Member of Parliament for Dansoman, Ursula Owusu.
The Minister was seen in pictures commiserating with the bereaved family of the late musician.
Popular Man of God, Dr. Lawrence Tetteh who met with Ebony a few days after her unfortunate demise was also present at the One Week Observation of her spiritual daughter.
Actors Grace Omaboe popularly known as Maame Dokono, Waakye, Kofi Adorlolo and Fella Makafui have also been spotted by our lenses at the observation.
Musicians Medikal and girlfriend, Deborah Vannesa have also arrived and have been led to pay their tribute to the family of the “Date Ur Father” hit maker.
Speaking in an interview with UTV at the event, Mr. Nana Poku Kwarteng, father of the late singer revealed that he was still heartbroken over the loss of his ‘queen’.
He added that he had not been himself ever since the news of his daughter’s unfortunate and untimely demise reached him.
Ebony died in a gory accident on the Sunyani-Kumasi road while returning to Accra from Sunyani. Her childhood friend and PA, Franky Kuri and one air force official, Francis Atsu Vondee, who posed as a bodyguard also died in the car crash.
