Video shows Countryman Songo referring to Ghanaians as hypocrites as Ghana mourns Ebony at her memorial service

- Sports presenter, Countryman Songo, has referred to Ghanaians as hypocrites

- According to him, Ghanaians failed to support Ebony when she was alive

- He added that the huge turnout at the memorial service means Ghanaians cannot be trusted

Celebrated Ghanaian sports presenter, Patrick Osei Agyemang, better known as Countryman Songo, has lashed out at Ghanaians during Ebony’s one week memorial service.

According to him, the overwhelming turnout at the event showed that Ghanaians can never be trusted.

Explaining further, he stated that the late musician faced intense criticism due to her outfits and suggestive performances on stage.

“They didn’t like her music, they didn’t like the way she was dancing, and they were talking trash about her,” he argued.

Songo went ahead to say that even though he believed Ebony could have done more in life, he is convinced she is resting in the arms of God.

The sports presenter passed these comments during the memorial service held for Ebony at the St Martin de Porres School at Dansoman on Sunday, February 18, 2018.

Ebony lost her life in accident on the Sunyani – Kumasi road on Thursday February 8, 2018. Two other; her Personal Assistant, Franky Kuri, and Lance Corporal Francis Atsu also lost their lives.

The driver of the Jeep in which they were travelling is however on admission at the Bechem Government Hospital.

Ebony’s family have announced that her final funeral rites would be held on March 17, 2018.
