-Father of Shatta Wale, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, says he likes Samini's songs
-Mr Armah Mensah went ahead to state two Samini tracks that are his favourites
The father of Shatta Wale has made a revelation which many would not have expected to come from him.
According to Charles Nii Armah Mensah, he likes the music of his son's bitterest rival, Samini.
It is no secret that Shatta Wale and Samini have had a tenuous relationship in the last few years.
Samini had dominated the Dancehall scene before Shatta Wale metamorphosed from Bandana and emerged with his 'Dancehall King' moniker.
Since that time, Shatta Wale has often launched social media attacks with occasional responses from Samini.
But despite this seeming animosity between his son and Samini, Mr Armah Mensah, who is simply referred to as Shatta Capo, has disclosed that he has nothing against Samini and he enjoys his [Samini] music.
"I once attended at Mamprobi Police Station with Shatta Wale. I saw Samini there and we spoke. I told him, Samini, no qualms at all", YEN.com.gh heard him reveal in a radio interview.
Speaking on Hitz FM's Showbiz Fylla on Monday afternoon, Shatta Capo further revealed that his favourite tracks from Samini were his latest, 'My Own' and one of his classics, 'Music'.
"I like that one. Especially, when I've been served with two shots of Kebashoor, I do wonderfully well with it", he said of Samini's 'Music' track.
Shatta Capo also took the opportunity to address issues concerning death prophecies made against his son.
