Charles Mensah Snr, father of dancehall music artiste, Shatta Wale, has revealed that plans are underway to begin lectures for fans of the Shatta Movement.
In a report by MyNewsGH.com, he stated that Shatta Wale would soon organize regional conferences to help educate fans on the nature of their identities.
Speaking on Hitz FM on Monday, February 19, 2018, he added that it has been realized that there is difficulty in moving around the country with their numerous fans.
The project, according to him, has been named the “The Next Level; Shatta at the Lecture.”
This, he said, is one of the strategies to keep the Shatta Empire alive and relevant in Ghana’s music industry.
According to him, there is an urgent need to remind fans all over the world that there is something unique to be done.
He added that it isn’t right to constantly move around with their fans, and fail to educate them on their individual identities.
The conferences, he hinted, would be held in a number of places including Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi and Tamale.
Charles Mensah Snr made this revelation, when he was given the opportunity to react to prophecies made about his son, one of which indicated that Shatta Wale may die by the end of July 2018, if he fails to repent.
The prediction was given by Prophet E. K. Mensah of the Christ Vision Prayer Ministry. Another man of God, Cosmos Walker Afram added that Ghana would soon be thrown into a state of mourning.
