-Some prophets had earlier predicted the death of Shatta Wale this year
-But Shatta has refuted the prophecy and has threatened to burn down churches by December
-He has consequently released a new song to mock the fake prophets
Shatta Wale has indicated that he is not letting go the “fake pastors” who have stepped on his toes anytime soon.
The ever creative dancehall king has released a dope tune, ‘True Believer’ against the fake pastors.
The song features Natty Lee and Addiself, members of the Shatta Movement (SM) team.
In the song, Shatta Wale wonders why the so-called pastors claim to know God but don’t act in that way.
“You say you be true believer; only you know Jehovah; everyday hiriba hiriba.”
“True believer, you say you be true believer, but everyday you dey kill you brother…,” Shatta Wale sings.
This new song by Shatta Wale is said to be in response to the “fake prophets” who have predicted death for him.
After the death of dancehall diva Ebony Reigns, many pastors have claimed to have predicted the death all in the name of self gratification.
Many of the prophets have extended the death prophecies to other celebrities, with one claiming Shatta Wale is the next to die.
Prophet-Cosmos Walker Affran reportedly wrote on his Facebook wall: “Ghana should pray, I see a national mourning again the whole nation was in tears and this time is Ghanaian singer Shatta Wale, and it is very close death, thus saith the Lord.”
But this didn’t go down well with Shatta and he threatened to burn down churches in Ghana if he should be alive by December.

Meanwhile, Shatta Wale’s father, Mr. Charles Nii Armah Mensah Snr, has slammed the prophets for predicting the death of his son.
According to Mr. Mensah popularly called Shatta Capo, his son cannot be killed by anybody, not even a 'fake pastor'.
He has thus written to the CID to investigate all the so-called prophets who have predicted death for Shatta Wale.
