Shatta Michy praises Shatta Wale for his support over the years

Shatta Michy, the girlfriend of dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, has heaped praises on him for helping her discover her music talent.

Shatta Michy has recently been releasing a couple of songs since being featured on Shatta Wale’s ‘low tempo’ track.

The diva went ahead to release her first single titled ‘cheating’ in January, which has gained massive airplay on both radio and TV.

However, she insists her music career would never have been possible had it not been for the support of Shatta Wale.

According to her, the self-acclaimed dancehall king activated her music talent, which even she never knew of.

Shatta Michy took to Instagram to post a lovely photo with Shatta Wale, accompanied by the words:

I just wanna say a big thank you to Shatta Wale for starting this generator of music in me. He activated a talent I didn't know I had. Help me say thank you. You're the true voice of God. New Music. Shatta Michy- Real lioness...Watch this space.

It appears Shatta Michy is enthused about her newly found music career and will soon be dropping more hit singles.

Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr (Shatta Wale) is a Ghanaian-born producer and reggae-dancehall musician.

His best known song is "Dancehall King", which led to him winning the Artiste of the Year at the 2014 edition of the Ghana Music Awards.

Shatta Michy is his long time girlfriend, and mother of his son, Majesty.
