-Zylofon Media says it is not signing Sarkodie as reports suggest.
-This was disclosed by Zylofon's Head of Communications, Sammy Flex.
Zylofon Media has denied reports that it is in talks to sign award-winning rapper, Sarkodie, onto the label.
Since the signing of Danchehall artiste, Shatta Wale, last month, there have been talks of Sarkodie joining the label.
But according to Zylofon's Head of Communications, Samuel Atuobi Baah, aka Sammy Flex, the reports were not true because the company was not planning on signing any artiste for now.
Sammy Flex explained that Sarkodie, as an industry person, is a friend to Zylofon and so the fact that he is seen at their offices does not mean the rapper is being signed.
"The fact that you often visit us does not mean we are about to sign you. There are friends and business people of this company. Everybody in the entertainment industry is a friend to Zylofon Media including him Sarkodie.
"As it stands now, Zylofon Media has not taken a decision to sign any artiste but all musicians in the country are friends of Zylofon Media” , he is reported by Zionfelix.net to have said.
Zylofon Media, which is barely a year old, has made giant strides in Ghana's entertainment industry since it opened.
With interests spanning media (radio and TV), music and film making, it currently has some of the best entertainers in Ghana under its management.
Apart from Shatta Wale, Zylofon manages fellow Dancehall superstar, Stonebwoy, Songstress, Becca, and gospel singer, Joyce Blessing, among others.
It also manages actor Too Sweet Annan, and actresses, Zynnell Zuh and Benedicta Gafah.
