- Shatta Wale’ mother says there is a mystery surrounding her son
- According to Madam Evelyn was held by the current Attorney General and Minister for Justice, Madam Gloria Akuffo on his naming ceremony
- She added that her son was blessed from birth
Ghanaian dancehall artiste Charles Nii Armah Mensah, known in showbiz as Shatta Wale, was apparently held by Ghana’s current Attorney-General, Gloria Akuffo, during birth.
This was disclosed by mother of the dancehall artiste, Madam Elsie Evelyn Avemegah.
In a Facebook live video recorded by her son, she said Shatta Wale is blessed from birth and has always been destined for great things.
She explained that the outdooring of Shatta Wale was held at a ‘disco’ in Asylum Down, where the Mrs. Akuffo was present and held him in hand.
“No one should joke with Shatta, it was a deadly time for me giving birth to Shatta. I didn’t get it easy so you people should stop all those unnecessary criticisms.
“Shatta has passed through the hands of prominent people. Do you know who held him during his outdooring, go and ask Gloria Akuffo. Do you know where his outdooring was held? Once upon a time there was a disco at Asylum Down called Cleopatra Disco. That was where that boy, Shatta Wale, was outdoored. Gloria Akuffo was the one who was holding Shatta Wale before he was named,” she said.
Madam Elsie further slammed critics of Shatta Wale, insisting nothing will stop her son from rising to the top.
