Ebony reigns may have left us, but I believe that she will forever live in our hearts. Born in February 1997 , her sudden death on 8th February this year is just another reminder of how fragile life can be.

We must all admit that she was too young to die. Ebony reigns would actually change the music industry in Ghana had she lived longer. Fans recall that she quit high school just because of her love for music. Will she be forgotten? Absolutely not!

Ebony reigns is known for her music. Some of the ebony tracks are dance floor and kupe. She died in a tragic road accident while she was travelling from sunyani to see her mother. Her song kupe had over 400000 views on you tube. Ebony songs was a mixture of both rnb and dancehall and many were drawn to watch it. Ebony latest songs were club bangers. Before she died she was on the process of doing another song.

However some critics are convinced that she was lesbian, and that she died alongside Franky kuri. Apparently some say that ebony reigns had relations with franky. Franky came back to Ghana after things did not go so well for her in America. However she is a Ghanaian citizen and rumor has it that she was a popular lesbian in town. People have judged ebony reigns and am very sure some did not feel the impact of her death.
Ebony musician is one of us, a true Ghanaian citizen. Her music had an impact on many in fact her song ‘kupe’ was a household banger for many. She died at only 21. If she had such a huge impact on the industry for a short time, imagine how much she could have done if she survived?. Artists like Shatta Wale and Sarkodie, they all started somewhere. Luckily death did not take time and right now, we enjoy their music.

No words can comprehend the loss that the Ghanaian music industry, and her true fans and family have because of her loss. She did not last to see her 21st birthday. I can only sympathize with them and admit that Ebony Reigns is gone but she Reigns. Her music will forever live in our hearts.
