- Music artiste, Kuami Eugene, has opened up about his choice of shirt for Ebony's memorial service
- According to him, the shirt he wore was a variation of black, and therefore it wasn't faded
Rising Ghanaian music artiste, Kuami Eugene, has opened up on the reason for his choice of shirt for Ebony’s memorial on Sunday, February 18, 2018.
This was due to questions raised about his clothing as he showed up for the event.
Reports reaching YEN.com.gh showed that social media users “attacked” him, because it appeared as if his shirt was faded.
Kojo Frimpong wondered if that was the reason why the music star kept saying “…we change colour” in Epixode’s song.
David Lamptey concluded that he is quite certain Kuami Eugene who sunglasses as he searched for a suitable shirt, hence, his failure to select a good one.
Just when the brouhaha about his shirt appeared to have died down, another fan resurrected the issue, demanding to know the reason behind the choice of that shirt.
Speaking during an interview on ‘Breakfastlive with Nikki Samonas’, the musician stated that inasmuch as he isn’t worried about the criticisms, he believes it is necessary he explains his choice of clothing for that day.
According to him, there are various shades of black. “…we have deep black, we have blue black, we have faded black, we have tattered black and as I said earlier, the fact that anything I do people take time to assess it, actually means that anything you do, people want to talk about it”.
The ‘Angela’ hitmaker added that although he was unfazed by critics, he looked forward to answering the questions posed by the concerned public.
