- A worker who was given a sick leave from work has met his boss at an interview he secretly attended
- The worker took to social media, narrating how shocked he was by the turn of events
- Existing laws in Ghana do not prevent workers from having more than one job
How would you feel when you see your employer being a part of an interview you are secretly attending? Well, this was the issue with a gentleman on social media who had earlier lied to the boss that he was sick and that wanted an excuse duty.
Sapiosexual, as he is known on Twitter, narrated how his boss even urged him to go for a thorough medical checkup and subsequently take two days off his workload.
But his lies came haunting him after he saw the very boss he lied to being part of the interview panel he was to appear before for a job.
The revelation by Sapiosexual got so many reactions on social media as some persons advised him to quit his job.
So far, it remains uncertain what the fate of Sapiosexual will be in the face of his employer as most of them would resolve to either ask him to reconsider his position to search for a different job or quit his previous job altogether.
There are no existing labour laws in Ghana that prevent employers from having a second or third job as such labour decisions are mostly the preserve of employees themselves so long as their productivity at their original work is not affected.
