-Father of musician, Patapaa, has jumped to the defense of his son against a popular man of God
-According to the elderly man, Kumchacha was just being envious of his son’s illustrious music career
-He also threatened to deal with the popular pastor should anything happen to his son
Opanyin Kwasi Amoah, father of musician Patapaa Amisty has come down hard on the founder and leader of the Heaven’s Gate Ministry, Prophet Nicholas Osei, popularly known as Kumchacha, for his recent attacks on his son.
Speaking in an interview on Accra-based Hitz FM, Opanyin Kwasi Amoah lamented why a man of God would wish evil for a young man trying to entertain the nation through music.
Opanyin Kwasi Amoah went on to question the calling of Prophet Nicholas Osei and alleged that the popular pastor was more of a fetish priest than man of God.
Giving reasons for his claim, father of the 'One Corner' hitmaker said he found it hard to believe that Kumchaha would buy 4 of Patapaa’s CDs, pray over them and bury them.
It was also reported that the man of God hinted at taking the musician to court to seek an injunction on the song which had already gone viral in Ghana and beyond.
Opanyin Kwasi Amoah however revealed that his son had been blessed by God, therefore, there was very little any man could do to stop his son from shining.
The father of Patapaa went on to give a stern warning to Kumchaha over the safety of his son.
Opanyin Kwasi Amoah said if anything happened to his son, he was going to blame Prophet Nicholas Osei and also deal with the man of God accordingly.
Patapaa and Prophet Kumchacha are no strangers to the ongoing brouhaha. It was earlier reported that Patapaa alleged that the man of God ‘killed’ Ebony.
In reacting to the allegation, Kumchacha threatened to beat up the musician for making such ‘wild’ claims.
