An unidentified employee of Royal Motors who was present when 10 armed men came in to commit robbery, has disclosed that God spared his life, else he would have been dead.
On Tuesday, February 27, 2018, armed robbers stormed the premises of the company and made away with sales for the day, as well as various items belonging to both the company and victims present at the time of the incident.
In a report by GhIssues.com, the man revealed that he was grateful to God, despite the fact that his valuables were stolen by the robbers.
According to him, the robbers, who made away with sales made by the company, as well as other valuables, shot at him, but he was saved by the monitor of a computer he was hiding behind.
“I was lying down here then they said get up… then he shot here, and I said 'my God'. I was praying hard. Look at the monitor, the gunshots condemned it. It’s only God, I thank God,” he said.
The man further revealed that the robbers went back to his office after chasing him out, and took GHC 6,800 from there.
He claimed the money was to be used to settle some land issues he was involved in.
He further stated that investigations would be conducted and any staff member who is found to have been involved in the crime would be dealt with accordingly.
